HELSMAC (HELmholtz Symposium on Materials and Coatings for High Temperature) was focussed on processing, microstructure and performance of advanced materials and coatings designed for use in highly demanding environments, particularly at high temperature. It was supported by the Helmholtz Association, chaired by Bill Clyne, Olivier Guillon and Robert Vassen and held in Downing College, Cambridge on 7th and 8th April 2016. Available here are the Symposium brochure (giving some background information, the oral and poster programmes and the abstracts of all presentations), plus the presentations themselves (from those authors who have provided them) and the Symposium Group Photo (with names).
